How to add a thermostat from the Goodle home app to the Nest app

Hi, when I replace my second thermostat on the first floor it prompted me to installed it using the Google home app and follow instructions, I was not allowed to do it using the nest app, the thermostat is working properly but I can’t see it on the Nest app, how can I see it and control it from the nest app ?

wen I try to add it to the next app it is like if I’m going to install it from the beginning.

The Nest Thermostat E and the Nest Learning Thermostat get installed in the Google Nest app:

Once installed, you should also be able to see the thermostat in the Google Home app, provided that you are logging onto both apps with the same Google Account and are accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure".

The Nest Thermostat gets installed in the Google Home app, and CANNOT be accessed in the Google Nest app:

Waoo thanks.  The nest app is so convenient since I already have the other thermostat, 2 cameras and the fire alarm, google needs to change that.

I haven’t fix the problem yet, I was trying to sign out and back in as someone in YouTube recommended but no luck.

@Keyrock, to confirm, what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Also, in what country are you located? If you have the Nest Thermostat 2020, you will not be able to add it in the Nest app. Once you add it in the Google Home app, it will not show in the Nest app since it has a different interface than the other Nest Thermostats.
