Nest Thermostat Sensor

This is annual inquiry:

why can’t Google develop the software to schedule the thermostat sensor(s) in blocks that vary from their predetermined inflexible  time frames. The current time blocks make the sensors almost unusable. I have been waiting for this for four years. Please let me know if this will ever be offered.
