How to tell which generation is my existing heat link

hello community

I recently moved into my property that has a nest heat link connected to the boiler. Unfortunately the previous owners took the thermostat with them and I don't even know which generation it is. Ideally I don't want to have a new installation done as the heat link is working fine, I'm using it at the moment to turn my boiler on and off. But I'm concerned about not having a thermostat as the boiler keeps firing all the time I have it on (as no set temperature). Anyway, if anyone can tell me which generation the heat link is by looking at the photo then I can get the compatible thermostat, that would be super helpful (and will save me to pay the installation of a new heat link). Many thanks,

Hi @newhome2022

I have the same Heatlink with a Nest Learning Thermostat 3e gen.

This is validated by the Google Support Page HERE. 😊

hello again

I finally got my nest thermostat 3rd generation. I'm in the process of pairing it with the Heat Link, which I've done until it asked me for a 6 digit key, which it's not in the Heat Link! I assume this is a sticker label that the previous installer forgot to put, is there a way I can get around that?
many thanks!
