Had a whole house humidifier and Nest learning thermostat installed as part of a renovation
Issue is that with the humidifier control wire connected to (*) terminal on the nest the Nest physically heats up and measures room temperature as 95+
HVAC guy doesn't know what the issue is (not familiar with Nest....)
I've taken a quick look at the wiring and it appears to be right based on what I've been able to read
