I cannot get an answer to this question. If one searches on humidity reading in this forum it is obvious that high and abnormal readings are a common problem with the Nest.

Hi Markra,
Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to help. Removing your Nest Thermostat display for a second, might help.
Please let me know how it goes.
Best,
Jenelyn

I tried this on both of my Nest thermostats and it worked on neither of them. I see that this is a very common problem. I did not notice it until the summer weather. I have 3 different hygrometer that are in agreement at 10 to 12 percent lower.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Thanks for the help here, Jenelyn.
@Markra, I'd love to know more about this. Could you gather its Signal strength value in the Network option under the Technical Info settings? Then, if you have a room thermometer, take a photo of the thermometer next to the Nest Thermostat. Both the thermometer and thermostat screens should be visible in the photo and show the difference in each other’s readouts.
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark

Mark,
Pictures attached. One is upstairs and one is downstairs. Both Reading differences are s
imilar. Signal strength show as strong on both Tstats.
Thanks, Mark

Hi folks,
I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
@Markra, please follow the steps below in connecting your Nest Thermostat 2020 to WiFi.
Confirm that the thermostat is now able to connect to Wi-Fi and is no longer stuck on the incorrect temperature then let us know how it goes.
I appreciate your help, Jenelyn and Mark.
Best,
Zoe

The problem is not connection to WIFI. The problem is not the temperature reading. The problem IS the humidity reads MUCH higher than actual as I tried to show in the pictures requested by Mark. I cannot get an answer and just get passed around to another person.

Hi there,
Thanks for the follow-up information. Have you checked if your Nest Thermostat 2020's software version is up-to-date? You can go to its Settings > Software to identify.

Zoe
