Yes, your current thermostat is compatible with any of the Nest thermostats, but a C wire is required to make it work.
The easiest way to add a C wire is to use a spare wire in the thermostat cable. If there is not spare wire, then you'll need to use the Google Nest Power Connector and possibly an external 24VAC transformer if there is not C terminal at the heating sysytem.
I'n going to go with no wire and no C terminal.
Try this wiring.

I don’t believe so @patmcgowan - only those 2 wires is not enough. You’ll def need a C power connector and possibly another line.
