I can’t adjust my thermostat from the app Anymore

  • I can’t adjust my thermostat from the app Anymore. Worked fine for about a year. Tried all the suggestions like resetting it, rebooting router. My only choices on the app or online is to switch home or away.

I have the same problem. It is like the thermostat has a mind 9f it's own. Sometimes it will on 64° or 70° for no reason.  I will have just moved it. I hate it and if not resolved soon; I will beca getting a new thermostat and throwing this in the trash where it belongs.

Mine was doing this back when I could remotely control it. I had to turn scheduling and eco mode off. Then it would stay at one temp.

the same thing is happening to me and i had to trouble shoot it but still doesn’t work from my application

Still have the same problem. Cases stay open for weeks and when I don’t respond Immediately they close the case.

I can no longer adjust the thermostat from the app. It has worked fine for a year but now the app just shows me why the outside temp is. Was useful but the app no longer seems to serve any useful purpose.

Mine too. Does anyone know how to fix it? Mine also doesn’t know when I am home so my home get ready hot. Doesn’t help in this 100 weather.

Could you provide us more details about why you can't control your thermostat within the app? What specific type of Nest Thermostat is this? Also, could you provide us with a rundown of all the steps you've tried?

No offense but why did I just get forwarded to a community of users with the same issue? I thought I was getting through to a solution. Does anyone know If Nest changed the app controls so we now have to do something different? Everything is on li e, connected the the right email, just no controls on the app. Lots of talk again migrating to google which i will do if I have to.
