I have a Nest thermostat. It is set at 79 degrees. It is 85 degrees in my house. Nest is napping!

I have a Nest thermostat.  It is set at 79 degrees.  It is 85 degrees in my house.  Yet Nest sits on the wall small, round and happy?  What the hell is going on?

I'm sorry for the issues that you are experiencing around your Nest thermostat especially with it being so hot outside, let's see if we can look into this together to get it fixed. 
  • Would you mind letting me know what troubleshooting steps you have taken to fix this? 
  • Have you checked the wiring as well?
