This NEST (Pro Edition) thermostat is incredibly frustrating. I operated the thermostat manually for about 2 months before it broke. When the AC company came out to fix the problem, they set the Nest to communicate with an app on my son's phone. We have had nothing but problems since. The thermostat continues to revert to a "Comfort" setting of 75 degrees no matter how many times I adjust it manually. I finally had my son remove the app completely from his phone. But the "Comfort" setting is still showing on the thermostat and I have no clue how to eliminate it. When I google help, it always refers me to using an app, which I refuse to do. I just want to operate it manually. I figure this thing is costing me precious dollars on my utility bill as it is set way too low.
