Install nest power connect with 24v transformer

I'm looking to install a Nest Power Connect to my furnace to address constant clicking sounds when heat is on. My furnace does not appear to have a C terminal or control board, so I need to add another transformer to my furnace to set up the relay. 1/ If I pay for professional install through Google, will that cover the installation of the second the transformer? 2/ Can they / I install the transformer using the furnace's power supply (there's no outlet nearby)? Thx.

I just completed an installation for a customer using a 24v Transformer.  This was a heat only system with 2 wire 1 zone thermostat.  Most of these transoformers are 16.5 and 24 foot in cable length.  This gets installed at the thermostat.  one wire connects to the "C" and the other wire to the Rc at the thermostat.  This will give you the constant power required for the NEST.

Depending on your skill level installing the Google Nest Power Connector with an external 24-vac transformer can be a medium-level skill.

I can't provide any information on the cost of using the professional installation service.

Wiring the external transformer into the furnace can be tricky.

If you can provide the manufacture and model number of your furnace I'll look it up and see if I can offer more infromation.

I can provide you with a wiring diagram for the Power Connector installation.

Thanks! I don’t have the model and not sure how to find. The make is Payne and here’s a pic of the wiring (it’s possible there is a C terminal somewhere but I don’t know). I’m game to DIY if I can ID the wires and find a proper tutorial on adding a second transformer. https://photos.app.goo.gl/uf99Rh9EbXw8ASGB6

I cannot tell from this picture.  The important part is do you have more than 2 wires going to the thermostat?  If you do not see that at the thermostat, then I would suggest the 24V transformer that you can plug in at or near the thermostat.  Most come with 16.5 to 24 foot of cable.
