Now it seems clear as indicated support will be withdrawn in October for certainly generation 1 and 2 stats, (I have 2 x 3) if generation 3 is likely to be treated the same way it is still on sale in the UK at some retailers by the way, so what about the future of Gen 4? Google, you have made an 'offer', or are making offers to N American users to replace their previous versions with Gen 4 (but this was not made as clear in your original advice note as it seems this offer is not to UK or even EU users). If my understanding is correct, this is grossly unfair. The approximate cost of a Gen 4 device in the UK is around £270 each. If you are going to treat UK/EU users the same as other users you don't have to incur postal costs eg US - UK and I suggest an emailed voucher should suffice redeemable at all retailers or on your own we site maybe? If I have misunderstood this issue and support will not be so withdrawn soon for Gen 3 then please advise.
