Is my Braeburn 5220 compatible

Azcanuk

I have two Trane Air Handlers and Heat pumps using Braeburn 5220 thermostats.

The wires are:

L, O, Y1, Y2, O/B/V3, G  with RC/RH on a jumper.

Is the Nest Learning gen 4 compatible with this setup?

Thanks in advance.

@Azcanuk , you have a conventional HVAC system that is based on a heat pump. This is going to be compatible with any nest thermostat except you can only use a learning type thermostat such as a GEN 3 or GEN 4. The L wire is actually for a light To be turned on during emergency heat and you can ignore that one. The wire that is labeled oh is more than likely your common wire. You have a compressor that’s why you have Y1 and Y2. Your reversing valve for your heat pump is on the 0/B/V3. And of course your fan is the G.

@Azcanuk

Can you post a picture of your current thermostat's wiring here?

Thanks very much for the information!  Now to find a color and backplate to go with it... take care.
