Hey there,

I'm so sorry for the delay in our response, but I wanted to hop in here to make sure we addressed your concern. I can definitely understand the confusion when it comes to thermostat issues as it can be very odd to figure out sometimes, but I'm happy to look into this for you.

First off, I would suggest using the Compatibility Checker to see if your system is compatible. Then, if it is, I would suggest contacting a pro to come out to help you with this if you're still having troubles.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns as I'm happy to help.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

I’ve already tried the compatibility checker, it told me to contact a pro. When looking to hire a pro, I was told there weren’t any in my area. So, what now?

Hey Scottandcasey,

I wanted to follow up and see if I can be of any help. I understand wiring can be confusing at times, as not every HVAC system is labeled the same. Taking a closer look at the picture, there is a chance the B wire may actually be your C wire for the Nest Thermostat.

I would recommend following the article here, as it will help you in identifying the labels for each wire. Please let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Jake
