Is my trane compatible with nest?

 i did the compatibility checker and they told me to post a photo here in the community. Is it true common wire is B not C on my trane?

Hey Lilryz, 

 

Thanks for the photo and for reaching out. 

 

Yes, Trane system use the B terminal for their common wires. However if you want to make sure that  it is indeed a common wire, you may check where the wire is connected to your HVAC's control board. Also, you can check it on the manual should you still have it. 

 

The jumper wire connecting the R to the RC terminal is not needed. Take it off and you should be good to go.
