You will need an additional wire or a Nest Power Connector since it does not look like you have a Common (C) wire available at the thermostat.   Do you know if there are any unused/unconnected wires that come out of the wire bundle in the wall?

Me2000, based on the photo you've provided, yes, your system is compatible with our Nest thermostats. However, like dhx227 had suggested, you might need a common wire or a Nest Power Connected installed especially if you're eyeing on our newest Nest Thermostat.
