It’s a thermostat

It’s a thermostat. I don’t need 2 factor authentication. I don’t need enhanced security. It’s a **bleep** thermostat. How hard is this?

Turn off two factor then:

On the Nest app home screen, tap Settings Nest settings icon.

Select Account and then Manage account.

Tap Account security.

Select 2-step verification and then tap the switch to turn off 2-step verification.

Follow the prompts to enter your password and the temporary verification code sent to your existing phone. You’ll then be asked to confirm that you want to turn off 2-step notification.

I saw it and have 2FA turned off, but am tired of the app asking if I want to use it, or if I want to change from my Nest login to  a Google one. This isn’t hard. Stop nagging me, eventually I’m going to move to another product because I’m tired of the nagware that the app has become.
