Jumper wire

My current Honeywell thermostat has W, G, Y, and R wires. It also has a jumper wire from R to Rc. I can’t find a clear answer if a nest thermostat is compatible. Can anyone help?

The jumper between the R and Rc terminals is not needed and can be eliminated
