I've about had it with this thing! Installed it in January for the expressed purpose of monitoring and adjusting hvac system while away from home (800 miles from permanent home). However, it has lost wifi connection at least 3 times since installed. Everything else in the house works and it's only about 12 feet from the router. Every time it drops the connection, I have to delete it, reinstall it, recreate all my schedules--it's a pain. AND I have zero confidence that I will be able to monitor/adjust remotely. I'm about to declare this a piece of JUNK! "Check for interference" the guide says. How do you do that? What interferes? Alexa? Phones? I am extremely frustrated with this thing!

My suggestion would be to return it or get a warranty claim for it. I experience the same issues day in and day out. Google's hardware is just pure junk nowadays and they are on the decline. If you can stomach Google's atrocious customer service, I would start there. I am currently de-Googling my house for this reason.

Which Nest thermostat do you have?
How is it wired?
Does it have a C wire installed?
