Locked nest thermostat is now offline

I keep my thermostat locked but what to do when  it goes offline? I can’t control the thermostat now because I can’t enter my pin when it’s offline

Thanks for reaching out. 

You first need to troubleshoot and ensure that your thermostat reconnects back to your WiFi network. Were there recent changes made on your WiFi before your thermostat disconnected from it? Also, have you tried rebooting the thermostat and your WiFi router? If not yet, give that a shot then observe how it goes.
