Please tell me how to deactivate my Thermostat account only.
I no longer live at the same address
I am not transferring the account
I no longer use a nest thermostat I do not have the thermostat it was left at my previous address
I do not have the serial code
I assumed that when I moved my wife was no longer available and the thermostat would no longer keep my information
apparently I was wrong because I can still login to the app and see the set temperature at my previous address home
please advise

Remove the thermostat from your app:
Remove a device from your Google Account - Google Nest Help
The new owner will need to factory reset it in order to set it up with their account, assuming it's still a supported model.
As for your account:
If you have an existing, non-migrated Nest account, refer to the deletion steps here:
