Moved into new house, nest heat link already existing on Boiler.

Hello, I've just moved into a new house and there is already an existing heat link for nest attached to the boiler. If I were to buy a nest thermostat, can I connect this easily to the existing heat link? Or do I need to connect it to a new heat link? Any help is appreciated.

A Heat Link connected to your current system will work with any 2nd/3rd gen thermostat. However, depending which model and system you have the 2nd will not give hot water. You will also need a Base Ring connector, this is the part where the display connects onto. You will have to pair the display and Heat Link, but that's simple enough.

Which model Heat Link do you have?

It is a 3rd gen heat link

Your all good in that case.
