My nest thermostat isn't working correctly. It was getting my apt chillingly cold . But now it won't . I woke up one night sweating it said 76 degrees I switched it back to cool and put it at the lowest possible temperature but it won't get cold . I don't know how to fix this situation and I'm sweating my butt off while at home . Help please.

@Jeremybadeker , lets make a few checks to see what might be wrong. Do you have access to indoor air handler? If so, you should see two copper pipes attached.  The smaller one, like 3/8”, is the liquid line and should be very hot to the touch. The second one is larger, likely 5/8” or 3/4”. This is the suction line and should feel cold to the touch.
If that is not the case, you have an HVAC system problem.
