NEST for Daikin

STACE

Hello,

Can somebody tell me something about the Nest compatibility with Daikin systems? I have the FBQ35 VRV system and wired BRC series Daikin remotes. Can I change them to NEST? I have just only 2 contacts P1 & P2 which are connected to genuine remotes. So how to check the compatibility?

Hello Jake, thanks for your reply. Im still thinking about a change of my genuine Daikin wired remote on Nest thermostat, because it could be integrated into my house network, but I still cannot get a qualified support about its connectivity from any integrarator of Daikin.

Many thanks if you can help me to find the information.

Hey Stace,

Glad to be of help. If you are only showing 2 wires labeled P1 and P2, there is a chance that your system may not be compatible. You would need to double-check your systems wiring to see how they are routed. I would recommend having a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look, as they would be able to convert the system if possible and set up the device for you. Please let me know if that helps, or if you have any other questions from here.

Best regards,

Jake
