NEST wont connect to the wifii

Hi, i received a google NEST replacement 11 months ago and it stopped connecting to the internet suddenly. I contacted google NEST, went through all the troubleshooting steps for hours without any success and eventually was told that my warranty has expired and my option is to purchase a new one although i have received the replacement less than a year ago. Is this the normal shelf life of google NEST? I cant help but to suspect that the replacement that i received is faulty and i can't understand why the reply i got is to consider purchasing a new one...when the product breaks after 11 months? Anyone with similar experience please?

Yes, similar.  Nest replaced by Google several years ago for wifi not working.  Last year wifi stopped working on replacement.  Now Nest won't even power on.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting in the Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Thermostats are having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. Also, I apologize to hear that the response you received from customer service wasn’t what was expected. I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when it happens early in the product's lifespan. While Nest Thermostats generally last for about 10 years, it's possible for issues to arise sooner.

If your thermostats have already been replaced and the warranty has expired, the option to process a new one isn’t available at this time.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

Best regards,
Axel.
