Hi.
I am installing a standard Nest Thermostat and am confused on the wiring. I have the following configuration on the current thermostat and would appreciate direction on how to connect to the Nest Thermostat:
Red Wire - connects to RC and RH that are jumped
Blue wire - connects to W
Blue & Yellow - connected both to Y
Orange - connects to O
Green - connects to G
Thanks in advance for your help. Jay Goodwyn.

new information ... I removed the old plate to find out the "2 blue wires" are actually just 1 jumper wire. So there are just 4 wires: Red, Green, Orange and Yellow. So possibly this will be straightforward? Thanks again in advance.

Hi jay32,
Thanks for posting! Here's an image with a suggested wiring, based on the information in your post:
Please note you shouldn't use the jumper wires with the Nest Thermostat. Also, it is recommended to get a C-WIRE or a Nest Power Connector to power up the thermostat.
Regards,
Axel.

Thank you Axel for the reply. The wiring you suggested worked like a charm. Everything seems to be in working order. I have not yet received any messages about the C wire being required so maybe ok? I do have an extra nest connector so I could add that if I do see a message about. Thanks again for you help. Jay.

Hi, So the system seemed to be working fine ... for A/C the air conditioner turns on and cools to desired temp. Same for heat. The issue is once the desired temp is reached, about every 30 seconds or so, the system will turn on for a few seconds then shut off. I am wondering if a power adapter will fix this? Thanks for your help.

Hi jay32,
Thanks for posting and that's right! My recommendation would be to install a Nest Power Connector or a C-WIRE. It might not receive enough power.
Regards,
Axel.

Axel, Installed the Next Power Connector and it seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks for your reply! Jay.
