Nest 3 learning not connecting to internet

I have 2 Nest learning Thermostats.  One went offline 30 days ago after working fine for the past year.  The other Nest learning thermostat working fine.  The offline one will no longer connect to internet after many router reboots and thermostat restarts.   Both units connected in the past using the same password.  The offline unit recognizes the WI-FI network but always states password wrong!  I know this is not right because everything else including the other Nest thermostat connects using that password.
