Nest 3rd Gen UK Discontinued?

It appears that the Nest 3rd Gen Thermostat is scarcely available in the UK.

As a Nest Pro ELITE Installer, I have had no communication from Nest regarding the discontinuation of this device.

Will this no longer be available to UK users?

When will the 4th Gen be released in UK?

Can anyone recommend a suitable alternative heating and hot water controller? Tado? Hive?

What is the purpose of the 4th generation thermostat that is only available in Canada and the US. Would it be compatible for UK use and furthermore I don't have an air conditioning  system so will those additional features be relevant for an Ideal Logic Combi C30 boiler?

I have raised this with the Nest team but the response is taking  them some time.

I want to know what is the alternative thermostat to the 3rd generation?

USA thermostat have different wiring, you’d need to buy a UK one, many available on eBay
