Nest 3rd generation schedule setting

Hi, I’ve just moved into a house and the previous owners had nest and left it for me as there’s no manual thermostat in the house.

i believe it’s a 3rd gen learning model. I’m used to Hive whereby you select an on and off time for the schedule, is that the same as nest? Or I want the heating to come on at 5.30 and go off at 7am so do I put both times and temps on the schedule as an on and off time?!?!

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm happy to help you with the schedule concern. 

To troubleshoot effectively, please answer the following questions: 

• Is the thermostat connected to your account?
• Is the thermostat connected to WI-FI?
• Have you already created any schedule?

In the meantime, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

• On the Nest thermostat, go to the settings. 
• Turn the thermostat to the right and look for "Nest Sense". 
• Select the auto-schedule, turn it off.
• Under the setting option, please go to "Reset". 
• On the reset option, you will find a "Schedule". 
• Please, reset the schedule. 
• You can create a new schedule.
