Hi folks, I’m very excited to have had my nest thermostat E installed today for my kitchen wet underfloor heating system .
There was not an existing wall room controller to replace (replacing a wireless portable controller/thermostat) so the electrician fitted the round fluffy grey heat link in the cupboard next to the boiler on wiring and the white plastic thermostat on the stand is plugged in in the kitchen.
My question is - which bit actually measures the current room temperature? Is it the white plastic controller that sits in the kitchen? Or the fluffy grey puck that is in the warm cupboard next to the boiler?
if it’s the later, does this mean the nest E will turn off when the boiler fires up for hot water or radiators elsewhere in the house?

Hi @Sarah_Lidddd. To clarify, the Heat Link E has a temperature sensor inside it but it cannot control the temperature. The only one that controls the temperature is the display attached to the stand. The Heat Link just shows the temperature in its area in case the two of them are not one next to another.
