Hi, I have just moved into a brand new property and I have two nest thermostats, the series 3 on my top floor connected perfectly but the nest E on the ground floor has a phone/app symbol on it and when I try and pair it to the app there’s no connection? I have reset the device by pressing the front for 10 seconds a number of times now to no avail.
I have set up nest thermostats a number of times previously yet I can’t seem to reset this to make it connect to the app to initiate the setup.
any help would be appreciated.

Reset for the Nest E is two short presses followed by a third long press of 5-10 seconds.

Hi, I hadn’t seen the reply but I have been on to nest support and they are replacing the unit as after trying to reset it a number of times whilst also losing an evening of my life they are replacing the unit. But thank you very much for bringing this to my attention and thanks for the help.
