Nest Gen 4 No Longer Turns On Fan

I have three ACs and three Nest Gen 4 Thermostats.  One of them recently stopped turning on the Air Handler.  I swapped it with another which works correctly, and the problem follows the bad thermostat to the other AC. 

Any ideas or is the thermostat dead?  Are there repair possibilities?

I have a replacement on the way from eBay and would like to have a spare.

The thermostats were purchased about a year ago and have worked fine other than my learning curve to properly set the scheduling !
