Nest Heat Link – no lights / no power – need replacement (UK)

Hi,

My Nest Heat Link has completely stopped working. There are no lights at all and it is not supplying power to the thermostat, which now shows “No Power”.

Details:

  • Location: United Kingdom
  • Boiler: British Gas 532 (Worcester Bosch Greenstar 32CDi Compact)
  • Hot water still works fine
  • Fused spur and 3A fuse checked – power OK
  • Heat Link shows no light and makes no sound when pressing the manual button
  • Thermostat also shows No Power even when plugged in via USB
  • Tried all troubleshooting steps on the support site

This appears to be the known Heat Link hardware failure affecting some UK models.

Please could a Google Nest Community Specialist contact me to arrange a replacement Heat Link as soon as possible?

Thank you very much,

Richard Varnden

Hi @varnden,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community.  I'm sorry to hear your Nest Heat Link has completely lost power and isn't showing any lights. I'm here to help you resolve this issue.

To determine the most effective troubleshooting plan, could you please provide the following details?

  • What steps did you follow?
  • Has your unit had service or maintenance?
  • Have there been power outages?
  • When did the problem start, and was it after a specific event?

I look forward to your response so we can get this resolved.

Regards,

Gabriela

Heat link has mains Power but no light or 12 volt output
