Nest Learning Thermostat is frozen

AncherVert

We just recently moved to a new house (3 months ago) with Nest Thermostat already set up for us. We’re now facing an issue because the display is just plain black, with a small blinking green light. I already did my research and it said that it might just be an update but I timed it’s been like this for quite a while, almost an hour. I have tried to press and hold the display for 10 secs until the screen turns off but the screen was off already so I dont think that fixed it. A solution is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Try pressing and holding the display until the house comes on, [do not  release] if the house does not show, you have more of an issue.

Hey folks,

Thanks for your suggestion, Frustratedddd.

AncherVert, how's your thermostat now? Have you tried manually restarting it by following Frustratedddd's suggestion above?

edward8810, yes you can do that it you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E. You may refer to this link for more information: https://bit.ly/35FLzK6
