My Nest Learning Thermostat broke in freezing temperatures and I was told it wasn't under warranty despite having the product for only 12 months. I originally purchased the product in May 2019, however, in December 2020, my display was not working so it was replaced under warranty. Then, in January 2022, my Nest Learning Thermostat had another malfunction that support was unable to correct. I was then told that it was not under warranty as the warranty expired in March 2021. How is it possible that my Nest Thermostat is out of warranty after only 12 months when the website says it's a 2 year warranty. This is incredibly disappointing and, due to extreme cold temperatures, I was forced to go purchase a new Nest Learning Thermostat. This does not feel true to the customer support and is quite disappointing - combined with the fact this is my 3rd Nest Thermostat in under 3 years.
