Installed Nest Learning T-Stat November 9, 2023. Did not realize “Blue Wire” needed to be connected to wall T-Stat for it to talk to “Blue Wire” in furnace. Come to find out this info from a HVAC Tech, that both blue wires talk to each other for them to keep the battery charged for wall T-Stat to work properly. Watched troubleshooting videos which said, to take T-stat off wall and plug in to charge. Did that, to still have a low battery (must be a faulty battery). After 8 months T-stat will not hold a charge. Please send a replacement Nest Learning Thermostat. Still falls under the 2 year warranty.
