I have a Nest Thermostat and a Nest Power Connector.
When I tried to setup the thermostat, it can't detect the C and W wires.
I have two wires as the input (White and Red) coming from a heating relay (24a01g-3)
There is 24VAC betwee the 2 wires.
When I test the voltaga at the output of the Nest Power Connector I have:
C - W = 0V
C - R = 20VAC
W -R = 0V
I don't know what is wrong
Here is a picture of the relay

Where are you getting the C wire connection from? I don't see any place that says it is the return side od the 24Vac transformer.

Hi Patrick.
I use a Nest power connector. There is two input, R and W.
So I plugged the red with the red and the white with the white.
And the output of the nest power connector is C, R and W.

Hey Ghalleb,
Thanks for sharing the photos. The Nest Power Connector is made to be connected directly to your system control board. You can visit this support article for your reference on how you can properly install it.

I'm unable to update the Thernostat because I have to finish the setup first. And I can't finish the setup...
So it never appears in the Home App.
Is there a way to update it manually? Or to finish the setup even if it's not configured properly?

Hi Ghalleb,
Thanks for the update. You have to finish the installation first for you to be able to successfully set up your Nest Thermostat in the Google Home app. Please visit the link I provided above, there's a sample video there on how to install a Nest Power Connector. If you're not comfortable installing it, you can book an appointment with OnTech Smart Services and have them install your Nest Power Connector.
Best,
Jenelyn
