My nest is saying RH wire no power. This started after a power outage. My AC still turns on but my nest shows offline on the app, and “RH wire no power” on the display itself. Any ideas?

Hiya!
Have you checked the physical wiring to ensure the connections are properly secure or for any signs of damage? Also try:
Sometimes more often a thermostat restart solves the issue.

I tried and unfortunately I’m still having the same issue. Any other thoughts.

I'm having the same issue. Trying to charge mine manually to see if that is causing the issue.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
Unexpected errors can sometimes appear on your Nest thermostat but don't worry, let's troubleshoot it together.
What specific error message are you seeing on your thermostat?
Since the error mentions "no power to RH," there could be a few reasons for this.
A "no power to RH" error usually indicates there's something that's preventing the wire from receiving power or the thermostat from detecting power on that wire due to the power outage.
Therefore, my first recommendation is to contact a technician to ensure your HVAC unit is functioning properly. A power outage could have caused damage, such as a blown fuse, which could prevent the RH wire from receiving power.
Alternatively, if the RC terminal is unused, you can try turning off your breakers and moving the wire to that terminal to rule out any potential damage to the thermostat itself.
Please let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel

Try moving the wire from Rh to Rc. Be sure to power everything off at the breaker before moving it.
If that doesn't work, remove the G and R wires and twist them together. Does the blower start? If no, then the problem is with the HVAC unit, possibly a blown fuse on the control board in the furnace/air handler.
