Nest Restarts when using the thermostat manually

Just moved into new house with two 3rd Gen Learning Nest thermostats. I have setup one thermostat on the app with no problem. I cannot setup the other thermostat because every time I try to manually use thermostat it restarts within the first few selections. Therefore, I can't even get to the point where I could set to factory defaults or setup or even connect to my wifi before it restarts. Thinking about buying a replacement thermostat, but thought I would try here first. Thanks.

Have you tried just checking the settings at the Nest thermostat? Checked the Neat App submenu and made sure that it is. It assigned to another account? Checked the Equipment and batter power level? Have you tried a forced  restart?

I guess it is solved or at least bypassed. When I pushed the outer ring it was probably shorting or slightly pressuring a wire causing it to lose power and restart. Once I realized exactly where the button is (part of connector at the bottom of the face), if I just push only there it worked great. Good enough for me. Thanks.
