Nest Series3 themostat

Hi 

I have a nest thermostat with a W5 error code .  I have tried everything to get it to reconnect but error code still shows .  I think I need a replacement please

I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue reconnecting your Nest Thermostat to your Wi-Fi network, and I appreciate all the steps you've taken. Let's sort this out.

To make sure that everything is covered here, could you please give us a rundown of all the steps you've taken? Also, try these steps and let me know how it goes:

 

  1. On your actual thermostat settings. Go to Reset > Account Connection > Reset.
  2. Go back to Network settings. See if the message code is still showing.

I have followed all the steps recommended by the Nest thermostat, I have restarted the thermostat, I have tried to connect to the Wi-Fi by putting in my wi fi details manually ,as the thermostat does not display my wi-fi connection.  I’ve shut the the whole thing down & rebooted it , but still it displays the W5 error code.  Ive just tried to find the Reset> Account connection > Reset & it doesn’t give me this option.

Incidentally I have tried to reply to your email, but it bounces back saying undelivered !  This is extremely frustrating !!
