For the last week or so, every day, sometimes multiple times a day, I am getting a notification from the Nest app telling me each of my temperature sensors are offline and have been so for over a day. This is completely false.
When I log into the app, all three sensors show no issues - they are all connected fine and their batteries show as "OK". I have even checked the battery manually and it is full.
I have also confirmed that each connection is good for each sensor so I cannot fathom what is causing these notifications
What can I do to get these false notifications to stop? Getting a notification that is invalid is worse than not getting one at all in my opinion.
The frequency of these false notifications is increasing and I am about to shut off all notifications due to the annoyance of this. I really don't want to do that but am not seeing any other options.

Hi ljdoglover,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Nest Sensor is sending you incorrect offline notifications, and I'm happy to help. To better understand your situation, I have a few questions:
I look forward to your response.

I have three sensors in various parts of my house. I have had all three sensors for over 4 years and nothing has changed regarding their locations for over a year. They all worked fine (and still are).
The issue is in the app - it was sending out notifications that were invalid. The app sent a notification for each sensor saying it was offline and had been so for over a day - I was getting these notifications multiple times a day. When I opened the app, the sensors all showed as connected. I tested the connection for each sensor several times and got the "Connection is good" confirmation.
I turned off my notifications for the Nest app for about a day - after posting my original statement - because the constant, every 10 minutes notifications were beyond obnoxious and distracting. I turned notifications back on for the Nest app yesterday morning and have not gotten a single invalid notification since.
I am not stating that the issue is fully resolved, but that the issue seems to be at least fixed for the moment.

Hi ljdoglover,
Thanks for your reply. I recommend you restart your Google Nest thermostat. Please follow the next steps.
Go to the Settings > Nest settings icon and then Restart. Once you restart, please check if the inconvenience persists and let me know.
I will be awaiting your response.
Regards.

Per my previous response, it appears that the issue with the app has resolved itself. Your suggestion above is neither helpful nor beneficial. As I repeatedly stated, the issue was never with the actual sensors but a communication issue in the app. This conversation can now be closed
