No matter how I set my sleep, optimum or eco settings my nest thermometer always switches to 81 F during the night. How can I fix this problem?

Hi Yreka6054,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. To isolate the issue, please review the Nest Energy History to see why the Nest Thermostat is changing the target temperature automatically. You can click on this link to learn more about this.
Thanks,

I was sent a website address to find the answer to my problem but the link did not work. My nest thermostat continues to change from 83 degrees F to 81 degrees F early every morning. Not sure why, since I set the timer to stay at 83F until 5:30 in the morning. I want the temperature to go 86F after 5:30 am but it goes to 81F. I still need to fix this problem. How do I do that??

Hi Yreka6054,
Thanks for the reply and for providing further details of what's happening.
Let's check the temperature schedule and look for the date or schedule for those changes when it happens. We could then delete all the set schedule and wait for a couple of days and observe if it's going to do the same thing.
Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Regards,
Ryan
