Nest Thermostat Compatability Photo

Could you please help me with my nest thermostat. I am having issues with the wiring but can't upload a photo.

My Google Nest does not have an E section to plug in the wire.

7 wires with 6 holes to plug in. Any advice will help.

Hi Vtran42, 

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. What type of Nest Thermostat are you trying to install? The E terminal from your previous thermostat represents your emergency heat and should be connected to the * terminal if you have the Nest Learning Thermostat and *OB if you have the Nest Thermostat E or Nest Thermostat 2020.
