I moved to a new house and am having trouble figuring out if a Nest or Nest E is compatible with my HVAC.
We have a gas furnace and I believe a heat pump for AC.

Your current system is compatible with any of the Nest thermostats.
You have a conventional HVAC system, try this wiring.
Blue - C to C
Red - RC to R (jumper to RH not needed)
White - W/E to W1
Green - G to G
Yellow - Y to Y1

That answer was clear. My issue is resolved and I'm up and running! Thank you.
