I am living in the building located in Dubai where I have two York split ducted ac installed. There are 4 wires coming to thermostat (Red-Black-White-Yellow). Could you please tell me Nest 3rd generation thermostat (T3021US) is compatible or not?

Based on the photo you've shared to us, it looks like your HVAC system is a proprietary type and it is not compatible with the Nest Thermostat. You could check out this link to learn more about the Nest Thermostat compatibility with HVAC systems.

Thank you for your reply. One technician install Nest on the same system and working perfect. I am sharing you the pictures of the device which he use. He bypass the existing PCB board and use the new device. Could you please tell me what is this device and from where I can find in Dubai.

We are also excited to bring the Nest Thermostat to more countries, at the moment it is not yet available in Dubai. The device being used from the photo is not recommended and there's no guarantee that it will work with our devices.

Just a slight correction on Ryan's response above, we have Nest thermostat devices being sold by retailers in the UAE. However, you need to contact Farnek who is open 24/7 and 365 days a year via +971 4 382 4402.
