Hello! I tried the advice to a similar thread. I think I need live assistance to reset my nest password. There’s no getting back into the old email.

Hey Jombi21,
Thanks for posting and sorry for the delayed response.
Could you provide more details about what's going on? You want to reset the password of your Nest account as you're unable to login, right? Also, are you using a migrated Google account or a non-migrated Nest one?
Tell me more so I could take a look further into it.
Best,
Melba

Hello!
yes, I cannot access my account. The forgot password goes to an old account without anyway of gaining access.
I’m not sure if it’s migrated. I don’t think so since I’ve been locked out for a while.

Hi Jombi21,
Thanks for the reply and we're sorry for the delay.
If your account is not yet migrated, it'll ask you to migrate your old account to Google. Check out this link to know more.

hello! I can’t migrate because it’s can’t login to the app because the password reset is associated with my old, inaccessible email.

Actually, I put in the right password and then the verification code is sent to the old email.

Hi Jombi21,
Thanks for the reply.
Since you were no longer able to get access to your old email, the other way to do this is to create a new Google account and associate your devices with it.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Ryan
