Nest Thermostat E UK - external temp sensor

Hi there,

I am looking at getting a E. A few questions if you dont mind 🙂

1) Does the thermostat plug into the wall for the UK model?
2) Does the thermostat and the heat link both have temp sensors?

3) My heat link will be behind a cupboard, so I don't want to use this temp sensor, I want to use the thermostat temp sensor, is this possible?
4) Is it possible to use external google temp sensors? Can you get these in the UK?
5) How does choosing between these temp sensors work in the google home app?

Thanks 🙂

Some answers for you:

  1. Yes.
  2. No, only the thermostat has a temperature sensor.
  3. Heat Link doesn't have a temperature sensor, so not an issue.
  4. No.
  5. N/A as it's not possible.

The thermostat is what senses the ambient temperature in your home. It can also take other factors into account, such as the current weather and how long your home usually takes to heat up and cool down. To keep your home at the temperature you set, your thermostat is what automatically turns heating on and off by sending a signal to Heat Link.

Thanks!
