Nest Thermostat Gen 4 Replacement Backplate

Good Afternoon

I am looking for a link to replacement parts. I need a replacement Base plate for the Nest Thermostat Generation 4. The part the wires go into and mounts to the wall for clarification.

Thank You

I dont think there is a 4th generation. Are you talking about the Learning thermostat that rotates that is a 3rd gen is newest.

The regular Nest is the one that you touch the side not rotate it.

Either way I do not think they sell only the base but you could try calling Nest and see if they offer the bases separately. If not look on ebay or facebook marletplace for a used one.

Most utility companies have substantial discounted offers for Nest with instant rebate sometimes the regular Nest is free and the learning is 100.

Released in 2020. At least from what I Google it more a less lists it as 4th gen. I was unaware utility companies provided such discounts. Thank you for that information.

I will follow up with Nest, and Facebook Marketplace. As of today Ebay is $40-$80 for a used base plate. Which after looking at the utility company website is more than the entire darn thing. If I can't find a base plate the discounted one for my local company National Grid is $60 Discounted.

I could only find the learning gen 3 base plate for $50 on the Google website.

Thank You for your help
