I'm attempting to install a New Nest Thermostat (non E mode and non learning mode) to a 2-wire heat only system. I fully understand the c-wire requirements, so I decided to try the new Nest Power connector instead of fishing a new c-wire. I've got everything up and running, but have an error message on the thermostate, N260. Nest support says my power connected is not installed correctly, causing this error.
I measure 26volts at the thermostat and when I run the power check from the thermostat I get
VIN=27.6
lin=176(w)
PS=W-176
Support says the PS number is 1/2 what it should be, and it represents the current .... Any thougthts??

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Could you please share with us the photo on how your Nest Power Connector installed? Also, try to restart your Nest Thermostat by going to Settings then Restart and check if the code will persist.
Best,
Jenelyn

Hello there,
Thanks for the help here, Jenelyn.
@vtboy51, if the thermostat shows the message N260 or N261, it means the thermostat receives low power. These reports are fixable with the proper installation of the Nest Power Connector.
Please check if you installed the power connector at the correct location. If possible, you can share with us a photo of how you installed it.
Regards,
Mark
