I have home/away assist turned off but my thermostat keeps going into echo mode because it says "No activity in the house". I've searched the google home app and the nest app (which my thermostat does not show up in) on iOS but I'm unable to find a way to disable this feature. My thermostat is in a location that does not see people moving through so I need a way to disable this feature. Any help would be appreciated. If i cant get this issue resolved then I'll be moving to another product.
Nothing is turned on for home/away assist. The log says its due to no activity in the house and it says i have no participating products for what decides if i'm home.
If I read correctly, you say you thermostat is not seen in the Nest App, if that’s the case that needs sorting then you would be able to set it up correctly

This is still an issue, the thermostat is always going into eco mode and the only way to get it back to the settings is to stand in front of the unit and then it will auto update to the scheduled settings.
