We have a Nest thermostat at a location from which we are "away." At this time of year, we want it to remain heated to a set temperature and that is all. When we visit during this time of year, we manually adjust, and then return it to the set temperature. However, it is periodically and unpredictably turning on "Eco" and heating well above the temperature that we want. I have never turned Eco on, I don't want it on, and I have eliminated the "schedule" which I also did not want. Still, Eco is turning on. A previous thread ended with a suggestion to use an option "disable Eco on all my thermostats" which does not exist on the app that I have. (And which makes no sense because currently we have only a single Nest thermostat. We might add another one, at the location where we are now, but not unless I get this solved.) I don't understand Eco, it makes no sense for us, and if I cannot turn it off permanently, then the result will be no more Nest thermostats for me. Please tell me how to get rid of Eco, for good.

Hey there,
I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. I found an article with more details on Eco mode. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Best regards,
Jake

Hello everyone,
@ldberger44 just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
I appreciate the help, Jake.
Best,
Emerson
